The relationship between Lubrichem and Arteco began in 2010, with Lubrichem providing Arteco with a base in South Africa from which to establish a foothold on the continent. Arteco’s ongoing commitment to research and development (R&D) brings global, industry-specific expertise into Lubrichem’s operations as a coolant manufacturer in South Africa.
As a trusted private label automotive coolant and private label industrial coolant supplier, Lubrichem has access to Arteco’s full product range, predominantly based on 100% OAT (Organic Acid Technology). Where required, hybrid or low-hybrid technologies are used, combining OAT with specific mineral inhibitors to meet particular performance requirements.
Lubrichem’s role is to bring Arteco’s products to the Southern African market. With decades of experience in storage, coolant blending services, and coolant packaging services, we manage the entire process from bulk receipt through to finished product. We also support Arteco in supplying their global customers operating on the continent with private label products manufactured to Arteco specifications
Through established relationships with packaging and raw material suppliers across South Africa, Lubrichem offers flexible, bespoke coolant solutions. As an experienced anti-freeze manufacturer in South Africa, we manufacture and fill both concentrate and pre-mix (ready-to-use) coolant products to customer specifications.
All coolant blending is carried out in a dedicated stainless-steel plant. Pre-mix coolant & anti-freeze is produced using de-ionised water manufactured on site, ensuring consistent product quality and performance. Products can be dyed to meet customer requirements, and as a bulk coolant manufacturer, Lubrichem supplies finished product in bulk via road tankers, 1000L IBCs, 210L drums, and 20L pails.
Smaller pack sizes — including 500ml, 1L, and 5L — are filled into customer-specific packaging using dedicated filling equipment. This allows for full alignment with branding, distribution, and retail requirements.
This reflects Lubrichem’s position as both a bulk coolant manufacturer and a reliable coolant supplier in South Africa.
