Through its partnership with Arteco, Lubrichem has access to advanced data centre liquid cooling fluids, including the ZITREC® EC 20 range. This propylene glycol-based OAT formulation meets OCP-inspired PG25 specifications for direct-to-chip (D2C) cooling applications.
Most data centres today rely on air-based cooling systems, using ventilation and air-conditioning to manage heat within server environments. However, the rapid growth of AI computing is placing increasing pressure on these systems. Higher processing densities generate significantly more heat, making traditional air cooling less effective.
Liquid cooling is emerging as the practical solution to this challenge. By removing heat at the source, rather than cooling entire rooms, direct-to-chip cooling improves efficiency and supports higher-density computing environments.
A Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) circulates ZITREC® EC 20 through rows of racks, enabling targeted thermal management and improved system stability. Beyond data centres, the broader Zitrec range supports electronic applications where thermal stability, material compatibility, and environmental performance are critical.
